Micah turned 1 on the 1st also, so I'm dedicating this post to these two- Mom and Micah, because they are the best. ;D
Dear Mom,
We've made so many memories together, you turn the simplest things into something unforgettable, because that's who you are. You are amazing, and unforgettable, so many people always remember your smile!!
I'm so proud to be a mini-you. I will always and forever be your partner in crime. ;) It's so much fun looking just like you, and having the same brain. (pretty much!)
I will always remember things we've done together, like: screaming as we drop hundreds of feet on a rollercoaster, randomly stopping to run through sprinklers, going on too many to remember midnight walks. It seems like no matter what we're doing, we always have fun with each other. =D
There have also been many hardships, so many times we've cried together. You are so supportive and just..amazing. So many times I've wondered what on earth I would ever do without a Mom like you. <3
So, I guess my point with all of this is- I love you more then words will describe. And I'm just trying to put it into words, but there just isn't a word 'big' enough to express how much I love you, and seriously couldn't live without you. You are my best friend, and always will be! <3
Here's to another year laughing hysterically over how we embarrass ourselves daily. XD I can't wait to see what this hear brings for you...have fun being 40!!!

Oh my precious little guy...one day, in the far far future I hope you will read this and always know just how much I love you!! In your short little lifetime I've already kissed you more times then I could count, and so many times just looked at you and wondered what we would've done without you? <3 You are my buddy, and constant companion, you really like going with me everywhere while I take pictures of leaves and butterflies. I wouldn't be the same without you. (and that goes for each of my siblings) I love you little man!!!!
