weeelllll. hi.

its been a little while, hasnt it? let me warn you that half the letters/punctuation on my keyboard were torn off by the little troublemaker, so yeah, this won't be perfect :P

soo life has been REALLY BUSY.  do i always say that?? we started school 3 wks ago and it's been chaotic. a little. it takes quite awhile (6-8hrs) to get everyone done with their school, plus cleaning and outside chores and music and we also have to eat and sleep. lol so thus blogging was majorly put on the back burner. but i'm trying to get some posts done so hopefully i'm not too absent.

i've had a cold this week, dylan had one and micah was sick earlier this month but it was partly teething. we're preparing for the baby and getting reeallyy excited! (5-6 more wks) Going to a church over an hour away, but it starts at 2:30 so YAYY. 

at the start of the month i was sooo overwhelmed, but now i'm enjoying the busyness and things are going much better. trying to catch up on writing to people and blogging (lol) i haven't taken many pictures at all, on the camera. but theres plenty on my phone so i'll still do a photo dump. ;)

soooo many new things happened/started up this month that i can't wait to share with yall in my monthly wrap up!! hope yall have had a good 3 weeks of october <33

pros + cons of blogging [my opinion]

PROS:

• a place to share pictures and randomness
• meeting new people, and from all countries
• finding Christians and homeschoolers, etc
• a place to get or give advice (sometimes)
• super sweet people

CONS:

• the time and effort it can take
• not able to be yourself/don't know how
• comparing your life with others
• not being able to relate with others 
• lots of half-friendships, or fake friends

I've def met some really amazing people thru blogger! the thing is.. i haven't really MET them. The Girl Defined sisters explained it well in the beginning of a video >>

did you watch some of that? i only watched the starting there, and it reallllyy put into words what i've been thinking. About how we have several friends online, but it's nothing like a real life friendship. 

so while blogging is great, and we can lift people up, pray for them, etc, we'll still not really know them. 

I started blogging bc I wanted to be like my big sister, Ashley. Soon after, I found that it was merely a wonderful way to share my pictures, and such. (and still is!) Now I blog bc 1) i would feel bad if i didn't 2) i have some awesome friendzies 3) i enjoy sharing pictures, and posting about adventures 4) i love looking back on memories 5) it is one way to try to make a difference.

and my online shop thing is really great too. <3

life update

sooooo.

how about we start with talking about what an awful blogger i am. 

or maybe not.

life is crazy. it's a super busyyyy season of life for us, with tons of new things being experienced and trying to get used to a new church and constantly praying for rain. and meeting lotsss of new people. and accidentally calling someone which was very interesting  xDD

and quite honestly, i've hardly had time to blog like i want. (or comment on yalls posts or reply to emails or anyythinggg) 

but somehow y'all are still so sweet and encouraging and amazing. so thanks, a ton <3333

anyhoo, Ashley and I are going on a roadtrip, starting early tomorrow morning and getting back the 23rd. it was completely spontaneous...like one day we just decided it'd be fun to go to mississippi...literally, so it's gonna be an adventure for sure xDDD i can't wait. 

anyhoo again, i'll be back and hopefully (that's like my most used word lol) i'll have lots more posts for y'all!!! today i got a buncha swimming pics uploaded but i just won't have time to post them today.

blogging break [aka Hiatus?] YELLOW MAKES ME HAPPY.

So..life has been incredibly busy. And everyone is going on these 'Hiatuses' but honestly I've been thinking about how I should take a break for at least 3 months now. Blogging has been an incredible experience, I've made many friends through it and it's cool being able to share my perspective on stuff. But on the other hand, I've also had people that I thought were my friends...be not very friendly. Lots of disappointments bc that is the other side of social media stuff. It has also made me compare, a lot. And that's really not good. I struggle with jealousy and comparing my life with others, and not being content. I pretty much always have..but blogging kinda made it worse, bc I'm constantly seeing how many friends people have and this awful jealousy creeps over me. It's really awful, but I'm working on overcoming it. 

ANYWAYS. (real sorry for rambling xD)

Right now I feel like I just need to focus on investing time in my younger siblings, and just not worry about blogging for this month. While I LOVE blogging, sometimes it is a burden. I feel like I should post what's going on, and stuff exciting that happens...and when I don't it just sorta nags me. So I'm gonna try to just step back, relax more this month, and then when May rolls around maybe I'll be able to catch up on the GIVE posts and pics of Snowbell, etc. Maybe I'll schedule a few posts and post on G+ but maybe not. :/ I just need a break is all I know. There is so much going on, and planting is going to be hopefully mid-april. 

I hope that y'all have a great month, it'll probably fly by!! Let's all remember to really enjoy the happy little things in life. and not worry about having to post them.  xD

So May was like busy, but relaxing, but not relaxing...
ok, not sure where I'm headed with this. :0

The start was just like, nice and a fun busy, but the last couple days here have been horrid! (well, mostly) Micah has been sick and miserable so he is crying nearly all the time. We'll get through it tho, it'll just be hard for a little while. :|
May was actually really, really hard for me. It always is. More on that in another post tho...
I'm going to post the few pics from camp and such. But for thus wrap up I'll put random stuff, no order, so y'all can see what my month looked like! (kinda :/ )

• Me: Ok just finish your addition and you'll be done for today! -Elias: This is addition? I thought it was math!!
• My bros ate a frog! lol :p
• Playing baseball, Swedish baseball, volleyball, A TON!!! we played at least 6 games of volley ball! #awesomness ;D
• Dylan finishing school and graduating in June!!
• Elias: Hey, on Dylan's party we should all yell "Happy 17th graduation!" -Everyone: *burst out laughing*
• going on walks with Mom 
• Storms at one o'clock. (I love storms but I hate storms. Cause we ave to wake the baby up, and then he's hard. :l) 
• Me and Ashley searching through the woods at night looking for Indians (in OK) to later find out it was a house of Mexicans 😂😂 (more on that in my camp post! )
• A guy making a deal with me that if I taught his daughter how to ride a horse he'd buy me ice cream! #winwin
• When Micah talks to a blue wall for nearly 5 minutes....
• Eating strawberry Ice Cream and thinkin' of my bbf  X)
• Ashley popping her fingers, then me popping my fingers and laughing before we go to bed =pp  #sisters #onlyus
• planting in our garden, ayayyy!
• A healthy shake that tastes like brownie batter for breakfast  <33
• rollerskating then going to  Braums for ice cream and hanging out with Jared, Ash, and David, then just talking with Ash and Dave for-ev-errr in the parking lot.... :)
• Micah going CRAZY whenever he sees a map, and srsly trying to eat it..I have no clue what his deal is!!! :o
• making homemade raspberry pie, with our wild raspberries!! xD
• getting 2 chapters of school DONE!!! WOOT WOOT!!

• FINISHING EVERY GOAL I MADE...  I crocheted 16 things I think!!! XDD
• Planning stuff with Ashley that will hopefully be happening soon!!! xD
• not being able to see Dev  ='(
• Going crazy and taking over 40 pictures of raindrops..#me ;D
• Playing volleyball with the 'big kids' - and completely stinking. I donno what was up with my serving, but it was always out of bound and so were my hits. 

May was pretty quick, which was nice! And i can't believe that it's just 2 weeks until we leave for NE!! *cue the screaming*

A computer story.

As I mentioned in a previous post awhile back,(no pictures ) we lost all the pics on our computer.
Here a little while ago, our whole computer completely quite working. So I am using my mom's phone, signed in with my account. As you may know, smart phones take terrible pics, (no offense to anyone with great pics! ) hence, no posts on my new photography blog. As soon as we get another computer, I will be posting photoshoots if a bunch of stuff! Just hang in there for a little while longer folks! :)

We here recently lost everything on our computer. Everything.
So I will just post this so that you all know that that is why I have been doing "just word" posts!
