Now, lets see how much of that I can get done!!

Now, a quick question, I need ya'll's opinion on something. Out of 4 languages, which do you think I should start/finish learning- Spanish-I partly know it, Swahili-I know quite a lot of it, Dutch-I know a teensy bit, or Creole- which I know absolutely none of! It is hard to decide what to start/finish learning, because I want to learn all of them! I love learning different languages, because the way I look at it, knowing a different language enables us to help more people and to share the gospel in more places!

Well, thanks for reading my goals, I hope you enjoyed this post! And Thanks to those who give some advise on the question! Have a great day!!

...be thou an example...

"Let no man despise thy youth,
but be thou an example of
the believers, in word,
in conversation, in charity,
in spirit, in purity."

   - 1 Timothy 4:12-

I have put this verse on the kitchen window so I can memorize it while I am doing dishes. I now have it memorized and it has helped me to be more joyful, really! Whenever I complain about how many dishes there are, or that I have the "hardest" job, the Lord brings this verse to my mind and I say it to myself and think, "If we had company over right now and I was complaining about my chores, would that be an example?" And then if that little part of me says,"We don't have any company over though." well, then I have to act like my family is company.
That usually works well because I want to be an example to my little  brothers.
So now when I say it to myself, my work, whatever it is, goes so much more quickly, and joyfully, because I know that the Lord wants me to be a good example,to everyone around me!!

Let no man despise thy youth,
be an example to everyone,
be joyful, singing praises unto the Lord no matter where you are,
be kind, and generous,
be ready to forgive...
..so that no man will despise thy youth.

Great grandpa

Great grandpa (Grandpa) was such an inspiration to me ever since I was little. His joyful face and cheerfulness, even when things were hard for him, was so inspiring. We all loved his stories and his smile.
On our vacation, we got word that his kidneys had stopped working. We packed up and went to NE to see him for most likely, the last time. I was really un prepared for how bad it was.
Whenever we came down there to see him, he would be sitting in his wheelchair with a smile from ear to ear. We would sing for him and talk with him.
But he couldn't even move this time. We told him we loved him, and I told him what a great grandpa he was. He tried to talk to us, but he couldn't. We all sang for him, and he cried.
It was a very moving time. Then two days later, he went to be with Jesus. I am really sad that he is gone, but it is so comforting to know he was a Christian. To know that we will see him again, and talk to him again, just in heaven! He will have no more pain, no more tears!
Both of my Great Grandparents are Christians, and I have learned a lot from them! I am so glad that I still have Grandma. She is such a blessing!
Please pray for my Great Grandma, and Grandma. This has been hard for them.

This was a year ago.
