winds nips my cheeks
and my fingers are almost frozen
small flurries fall on my hair
speckling contrast white and brown
dead trees and plants
much more intriguing now
snow clings to my jeans
sticks to my fuzzy hat
horses gallop in our field
playing and rearing at each other
ah how wonderful is everything
when it's covered in snow. xxx
