soo i'm doing goals an such quite differently this year. yes, i have goals, but it's not a ton. but.. it's more like, i just want to make this year good, and that won't happen from piling goals on top of each other and never feeling content. i want to relax and live in the moment and be HAPPY. i want to find happiness, and never let it go. i want to come out of this heaviness, this suffocating fog. i want to grow in Jesus and find my joy in HIM.. not completing goals. i want to grow friendships and make good- happyyy memories.
as some of you might know, my word for this year is joy. <333
i'm gonna be focusing on photography a lot as far as hobbies go, i'd loveee to turn it into something more <3

on another note, my 15th birthday is in 25 days and i *think* i'm pretty prepared for my permit test, but i would LOVE any driving advice from yall with a license or permit!!! please leave some tips for me xD <33

thank you so much for sticking with me in this crazy journey. <33

Great goals!! Annika really wants to learn the cello. And I want to learn to hunt too!! I LOVE the aerial photo of the road so much!!
How cool that you can get your learner's permit at 15 in MO (that is where you live, right?)!! I am super excited for you. I just got my permit in June 2018. I'm not sure exactly how your state does it, but a good way to study is to read the driver's manual and then take online practice tests. I took tests from https://driving-tests.org- which has a wide array of questions to improve driving skills in general. You can select your state on the homepage for specific questions. And also from https://dmv.ny.gov/driver-license/drivers-manual-practice-tests. This is the DMV website for NY and the questions in these practice tests are taken directly from the driver's manual and were the same ones on the written exam (YAY!). Your state might also have a website for its DMV that you could find practice tests on.
Again, not sure how your state does it, but hopefully this helps somewhat! Good luck!

  2. I feel you, and I feel the same way in ways.

    Driving advice?
Stop at yield signs, even if it's brief. I got called out on this one. Also, the first time I took my license test, I didn't pass because I accidentally didn't stop at a red light (I was thinking that right turn on red applied there). This was a problem because right in front of me there was a sign that said "No turn on red"...so just be aware of the signs, even if you know the area. :D
Try to take your test in the town you know the best...it might eliminate stress.

And above all, don't be afraid to fall...just be ready to get back up. Take your time. :D
LOVE YOU, and please keep me updated.

  5. Hey, happy birthday!!!

I just got my drivers license last week! My advice to you would be to breathe, it is stressful, but take your time and concentrate on the tast at hand. Study the book and take practice tests, those are always helpful! And lastly, pray. God is good!

  7. Hi, Paige! I just recently found your blog, and I LOVE it! Your pic-stuffed posts make me so happy. ^_^

I love that your word for this year is joy. Mine was originally "intentional," but I keep forgetting about it, and what's the point of setting a word for the year if you neglect it right off the bat? Obviously, I don't want intentionality in and of itself to be the overwhelming priority - Jesus needs to be the priority 💕 - but this little post prompted me to go back and remember my high hopes right at the beginning of the year of being intentional.

Lovely post. <3 Study hard for the permit test! You'll do great! :D
