poetry.

everybody has thoughts
just some express them better then others.
i was always a one that 
never thought i'd be able to take mine
and turn them into something more.
so i gave up.
i just accepted that i wasn't able to do it.
make something beautiful out of 
everyday thoughts.
but then one night
i tried. 
and guess what?
i did it,
everyone loved it and i felt so good about myself.
so i kept trying
and writing. 
some were better then others
small things i disliked,
but it was from me.
and that was enough. 
so now every night
i'll sit by my bed and write, 
a poem, 
and sometimes i can't believe that i didn't try sooner.
God has given us all abilities
so find your strong points
and use them for His glory. 
He gave me these thoughts,
some funny but some serious. 
and beautiful things have now been made, 
things i was scared i could never make.

my gang.

yup. these are my kinda peeps.

hot days and running around,

coffee ice cream or popcorn.

my constant little companions 

which i wouldn't trade for anything.

them in those fuzzy pajamas 

and helping me make pancakes

on Saturday morning.

dirt-stained feet

and watching sunsets together.

they know me, 

and how camera crazy i am

so they've learned to smile for a picture at a random moment.

or to never touch my yarn

and always give me ice cream.

we do so much together

and tho they can be annoying 

i would do anything for them. 

cuz they are the best 

the. best.

and i can't wait for when we all grow up

being aunts and uncles, 

but for now we're making memories

and eating ice cream

and running around outside.

bc that's what we're supposed to be doing.

they grow up so fast.

trust me.

[i am trying to spend more time with my siblings, they are really the best. You are lucky if you know them, because they just rock. ;D ]

Celebrating Micah & Mom's birthday!!!

Today we are celebrating this wonderful Momma!! <3 

Micah turned 1 on the 1st also, so I'm dedicating this post to these two- Mom and Micah, because they are the best. ;D

Dear Mom,

We've made so many memories together, you turn the simplest things into something unforgettable, because that's who you are. You are amazing, and unforgettable, so many people always remember your smile!! 

I'm so proud to be a mini-you. I will always and forever be your partner in crime. ;) It's so much fun looking just like you, and having the same brain. (pretty much!) 

I will always remember things we've done together, like: screaming as we drop hundreds of feet on a rollercoaster, randomly stopping to run through sprinklers, going on too many to remember midnight walks. It seems like no matter what we're doing, we always have fun with each other. =D 

There have also been many hardships, so many times we've cried together. You are so supportive and just..amazing. So many times I've wondered what on earth I would ever do without a Mom like you. <3

So, I guess my point with all of this is- I love you more then words will describe. And I'm just trying to put it into words, but there just isn't a word 'big' enough to express how much I love you, and seriously couldn't live without you. You are my best friend, and always will be! <3 

Here's to another year laughing hysterically over how we embarrass ourselves daily. XD I can't wait to see what this hear brings for you...have fun being 40!!!

Dear Micah,

Oh my precious little guy...one day, in the far far future I hope you will read this and always know just how much I love you!! In your short little lifetime I've already kissed you more times then I could count, and so many times just looked at you and wondered what we would've done without you? <3 You are my buddy, and constant companion, you really like going with me everywhere while I take pictures of leaves and butterflies. I wouldn't be the same without you. (and that goes for each of my siblings) I love you little man!!!!

I SAT. IN A CAR. FOR 50 HOURS. 

yeah traveling thro states, PA, WV, OH, IL, IN, NE, IA, and of course MO + AR :D

Dylan having surgery in St. Louis again :(  the poor guy!! They were gone for 5 days this time

Having the privilege of attending Tashia's wedding!!! (IT WAS SO SWEET LIKE WE CRIED) 

FINDING 2 WITTLE KITTENS AT HE PARK (!!!!) 

Me: I can't wait til I'm 18, then I'll stop getting zits...

Brianna: I'm 22 and I still get zits, you'll just be wishing you were younger once you're 18

Crazy as it may sound..I've been learning a lot about Tourettes Syndrome. ikr, whoa!! How'd I get into that you ask? Well, Jamie Grace had Tourette Syndrome and she overcame it, but she has many videos on it and it has been such an interesting thing to learn about. Really sad, but, these people can either overcome it, or learn to live with it. 

I learned how to make/fry chicken tenders. 

I've been learning so much about people with disabilities, and how we can be so diverse, and have so much in common. <3 To me, everybody, no matter how different is important. 

and so much more, but i can't remember at the moment. :| 

[WARNING] be prepared. I have many more drafts that I'm hoping to finish by the end of Nov, posts shall be flowing. :)

I really like how this turned out!! And yes at  the ending i was like "9 MINUTES AGHH" but then guess what? I TRIMMED IT mwahaha like awesomeness right? XDDDD So it was only 7 minutes, which is record breaking for me. I still totally look awkward and everything, but it's wayyyyy better then previous attempts. ;) 

RANDOM   LIFE   STUFF.

5-DAY SISTERS ROADTRIP & ALL THE PICTURESSS

So yes, very simple easy-to-understand title with no fancy stuff to make it look professional...just what it is. ;D bc I'll rly never be professional at this blogging stuff, no matter how hard i try.

Me and Ashley went on this epicccc 5-day roadtrip to like, all over the place. XD It was so. much. fun. It was a LOT of sitting, but it was so worth it!!! All in all, we:

•  went to PA, WV,  OH, IL, + IN
• Checked off 2 more states from our bucketlist ;)
• Saw our best friends again <3
• Drank coffee like, a lot.
• Got to talk about all kinds of stuff and actually spend quality time <33
• Attended Tashia's wedding + got to see all of them <333

I took a major ton of pictures and totally adore them *heart eyes* This trip is a major highlight of October <3333

(and i know I'm using a lot of hearts but roll with it xD )

we first stopped at this adorbs little gift shop, actually it wasn't little. It was the World's Biggest Gift Shop....LOL

Finally home, after 30+ hours driving! I showed Josh all the pics  and then turned it around, *selfie* 

And I was finally reunited with this guy!!! He is best!!!!

This was all the 11th through the 15th, such fun times!!! It was definitely amazing.
